Improvements for Google Tasks™: Highlighting tasks and labels
Improvements for Google Tasks™ is a free Chrome add-on developed by Jonathan Rosenberg. This add-on enhances the functionality of Google Tasks™ by allowing users to highlight tasks and labels based on keywords and patterns.
With this add-on, users can easily highlight tasks as they type in Google Tasks™. The add-on supports various patterns for highlighting, such as using "(x)" for red highlight background and an icon, "/!\" for yellow highlight background and an icon, "" or "(*)" for intense blue highlight background, and "" or "(o)" for light blue highlight background, among others. Additionally, the add-on also supports highlighting labels, which are special characters followed by any words optionally separated by dashes.
Improvements for Google Tasks™ provides a convenient way to visually organize tasks and labels, making it easier to prioritize and manage tasks effectively. Although customization options for patterns and colors are planned for a future version, the current functionality of the add-on is already a valuable addition to Google Tasks™.
